Position Overview

As a Clinical Support Coordinator at BioLife Plasma Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our donors and patients. Your responsibilities will include assessing donor eligibility, managing donor reactions, and maintaining high standards of quality and service. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on collecting plasma to develop essential medicines and therapies for patients globally.

Qualifications

Current licensure as an LPN, LVN, RN, EMT-P, NP, or PA is required.

Availability may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Donor Eligibility (85%):

Accurately determine donor eligibility through informed consent management, medical history interviews, physical examinations, and laboratory test reviews. You will also manage donor reactions and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures during medical emergencies.

Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Support (5%):

Assist with pre-placement evaluations, vaccination programs, and maintain employee medical records. You will also respond to employee incidents and provide first aid as necessary.

Medical History Duties (10%):

Engage with donors upon arrival, record vital signs, and manage donor information in the Donor Information System.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • CPR and AED certification.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
