Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Granville Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Coordinate activities at the nursing station, communicating effectively with physicians and nurses to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Schedule x-rays, lab tests, and surgeries as ordered by physicians, and process information on our health information system.
  • Participate in educational conferences and complete education in services to maintain knowledge and skills related to areas of practice.
Requirements
  • Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work under the direction of a licensed nurse and follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
  • Demonstrates good writing or verbal communication skills and follows directions without difficulty.
  • Must have certification by a state certified nursing assistant program as a Nurse Aide I and a current registration with the North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant Registry.
