The Paramedic Specialist plays a vital role in the Emergency Department at Granville Health System, working under the direction of the Medical Director. This position requires a graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program with current North Carolina EMT-P Paramedic certification. A minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience in an emergency care setting is preferred, including Emergency Services and/or Intensive Care Units. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in current practices and competencies of hospital-based paramedic care, with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
