Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant I/Secretary to join our team at Granville Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various clerical and secretarial duties, including scheduling appointments and processing patient information.
  • Coordinate activities at the nursing station, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to relay important information.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide I and registration with the North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant Registry.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
  • Ability to work under the direction of a licensed nurse and maintain confidentiality.
