Automotive Cleaning Specialist - Kahlig Auto Group
The Automotive Cleaning Specialist is responsible for the meticulous cleaning, refurbishing, and detailing of vehicles sold by the dealership. This role involves inspecting vehicles for any imperfections during the cleaning process and addressing these issues or notifying management as necessary. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time schedules, with flexible hours. Comprehensive training is provided, and compensation is issued on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean, refurbish, and detail vehicles prior to customer delivery, covering all areas including exterior, interior, undercarriage, trunk, and engine compartment.
- Apply pinstripes, decals, and emblems as needed.
- Polish and wax vehicles as required or instructed.
- Report any imperfections to management promptly.
- Retrieve and return vehicles from the shop or storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
- Exhibit behavior that aligns with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Inspect the quality of work performed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Must meet the employment requirements set by the company.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is essential.
- Professional appearance is required.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Good judgment and the ability to follow directions are necessary.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, both outdoors and in a shop environment.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 30+ pounds.
- Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and handle parts and equipment.
- Comfortable working in environments that may be dusty and involve various chemical compounds and paints.
