Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Husky Technologies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers, including setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and repair of injection molding systems.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, call centers, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, order replacement parts, and complete repairs and/or replace components on machines and/or robots.
  • Work with new and evolving technologies, conduct testing and inspection on equipment as required, and complete work orders and written reports on a regular basis.
  • Interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and service functions, and possess good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to obtain and exchange complex technical information.
  • Operate Windows-based applications, and have a strong electrical background and mechanical aptitude.
  • Perform other special projects as required or assigned by a Manager/Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-year Technical Associate degree/diploma.
  • Experience with injection molding equipment, including assembly, testing, service, and engineering.
  • Familiarity with Husky equipment and/or Husky products, including machines, molds, robots, and other product handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and schematics, and ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and possess strong customer service skills.
