This role is focused on business development in support of a significant defense initiative and is dependent on project award.
As an analyst, you will be responsible for producing intelligence assessments, ensuring comprehensive situational awareness of military operations, and contributing to the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE). You will integrate intelligence reports from various sources and provide critical analysis to refine collection strategies addressing existing intelligence gaps. Your work will involve researching, drafting, coordinating, and publishing insightful all-source analysis products regarding foreign military capabilities and operational readiness to guide senior leadership and inform strategic decisions. Topics of focus will include ground operations, military capabilities, C4ISREW, and competitive analysis. You will collaborate with various service components and defense agencies to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
Qualifications:
JOURNEYMAN LEVEL: Candidates should possess 3 to 10 years of relevant experience along with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. A Journeyman typically operates independently across all functional responsibilities.
Security Clearance: TS/SCI required.
Physical Demands: The position involves extensive use of computer systems, including PCs and laptops. Tasks may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing, typing, and reading from screens. Candidates should have the physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Some travel may be necessary.
Work Environment: Primarily an office setting, which may include cubicle arrangements. The environment is generally safe with minimal hazards. Limited travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.
Equipment Proficiency: Familiarity with office equipment such as computers, printers, and telecommunication devices is essential.
Attendance Expectations: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular attendance is crucial for meeting deadlines and participating in meetings. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate mission-critical requirements.
Professional Conduct: Candidates must demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Appropriate grooming and attire are expected to maintain a professional atmosphere. Independent transportation to the workplace is required, and candidates must be willing to travel as necessary.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $82,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hires across various locations. Individual compensation will be determined based on location, skills, experience, and relevant education.
