Job Overview

Position Summary: As a Warehouse Selector, you will independently pick full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable items from designated storage areas using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will utilize order sheets or an audio headset to guide your selections. Your role will involve arranging items on a pallet, securing them with plastic wrap, and transporting them to the shipping area for distribution. Safety is our utmost priority, and all employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols.

Compensation: Starting pay is $25.50 per hour, with potential earnings of up to $28.00 per hour.

Shift Details: 3rd shift commencing at 1 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Location: Troutdale, Oregon.

About Us: C&S Sundial Logistics is our latest distribution center, conveniently located near major transportation routes. Our facility features ample well-lit parking and a diverse workforce that respects multicultural backgrounds. We provide translators as needed to ensure effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accuracy in work and comply with production and safety standards.
  • Utilize pick sheets or technology (e.g., voice or scanner) for product selection.
  • Operate a double walkie-rider or pallet jack to retrieve products from storage and prepare pallets for shipment.
  • Transport pallets to the shipping dock for delivery.
  • Apply proper wrapping techniques to safeguard products during transport.
  • Complete equipment inspections and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • Freezer Warehouse (-20F to 0F)
  • Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
  • Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Qualifications:

  • General Equivalency Diploma or High School Diploma.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
  • Commitment to quality work and safety standards.
  • Physical capability to lift and handle items up to 60 lbs.
