Scenthound represents an innovative approach in the pet care industry, providing essential services for dogs while offering pet owners a straightforward way to maintain their pets' health. We are seeking a Dog Groomer to contribute to grooming and training a team of bathers/Scent Techs at our expanding business. In this role, you will be responsible for grooming and educating both dogs and their owners, ensuring they receive the routine care they need.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocate for the well-being of all dogs in our care, ensuring a safe environment for both dogs and team members
• Serve as a culture-driven leader, inspiring team members to pursue growth through training and skill enhancement
• Uphold Scenthound's grooming standards with precision
• Focus on maintaining quality control and consistency in grooming services
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management
• Availability to work some weekends and weekdays

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of dog grooming experience (recent graduates with some experience may be considered)
• Familiarity with various dog breeds and their grooming needs
• Leadership abilities to coach and mentor team members in a culture-first environment
• Strong time management skills to adhere to schedules
• Ability to self-evaluate grooming quality and maintain high standards
• Reliable transportation for job-related duties
• Capability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to safely lift 50-70 lbs
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
• A genuine love for animals, especially dogs
