Scenthound is a pioneering business in the pet care industry, dedicated to providing exceptional care for dogs while offering pet owners an easy way to manage their pets' health. We are looking for a Canine Grooming Specialist to lead grooming and training efforts within our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for the well-being of all dogs in our care, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Act as a culture-driven leader, inspiring team members to pursue growth through training
- Maintain high grooming standards consistent with Scenthound's values
- Ensure quality control and consistency in grooming services
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
- Availability to work weekends and weekdays as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of dog grooming experience, with consideration for recent graduates with some experience
- Strong knowledge of various dog breeds and their grooming needs
- Leadership abilities to coach and mentor team members
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to self-evaluate grooming quality and uphold high standards
- Reliable transportation for job duties
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift 50-70 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free work environment
- A genuine love for animals, especially dogs
