Job Summary

Pyrotek is a global leader in high-temperature materials, and our products impact virtually everyone in the developed world. We're seeking a skilled Security Analyst to protect, monitor, and maintain our Information System (IS) network security system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard data and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure data protection.
  • Collaborate with the IS team and other departments to integrate and promote security best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, plus a minimum of five years of experience in system security.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant security certifications preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IS security principles, best practices, and tools used to protect data and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Environment

This is a hybrid position with 2 days/week in office. The office is located in downtown Spokane.
