Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardio Diagnostic Technician II to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing a variety of electrocardiograms (12 lead EKGs), Holter monitor applications, and stress tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (12 lead EKGs) and Holter monitor exams with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct exercise/treadmill stress tests, documenting patient vital signs, symptoms, and tolerance of the exam.
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians and other healthcare team members during diagnostic exams.
  • Ensure all patient care equipment is in safe working order and report any malfunctions to management.
  • Enter charges at the time of service delivery and maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • One year of experience as a technician performing electrocardiograms (12 lead EKGs), Holter monitor applications, and/or stress tests.
  • Certification as a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCI) or equivalent.
