Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is in search of a Maintenance Reliability Manager to oversee an on-site team.

The Maintenance Reliability Manager plays a crucial role in the establishment and enhancement of predictive and preventative maintenance strategies aimed at ensuring the reliability of equipment and processes. This position is essential for facilitating safe, efficient, and high-quality production by providing strong leadership to the team responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery. The goal is to maintain equipment in optimal condition through a premier preventative maintenance program while developing key performance indicators that foster continuous improvement in both personnel and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide team members in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, components, and apparatus of industrial machinery, adhering to relevant electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Organize and allocate daily tasks for maintenance personnel, ensuring the completion of work orders.
  • Coordinate maintenance technicians and manage the database for equipment calibrations.
  • Lead and support team members in diagnosing malfunctioning machinery using appropriate testing equipment and collaborating with other maintenance staff for accurate troubleshooting.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify and replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery.
  • Evaluate existing equipment and process inefficiencies in collaboration with other operational team members, including process engineers, and implement modifications to achieve operational goals.
  • Oversee the management of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment inventories, initiating reorders as necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Compile reports, analyze data, and provide recommendations for operational improvements and resolution of maintenance-related challenges.
  • Ensure that maintenance personnel are well-trained, equipped, and motivated to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
  • Administer a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history of production equipment.
  • Monitor, analyze, and enhance key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, PM compliance, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience with Reliability Start-Up Programs.
  • A minimum of five years in a Maintenance Manager role.
  • Prior technical supervisory experience demonstrating effective management capabilities.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
  • Five years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in digital controls troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret specifications and blueprints.
  • Proficient in using computer applications such as Word and Excel.
