**Position Overview**

As a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our client's information systems and networks against potential cyber threats. This position requires a deep understanding of various security technologies and methodologies.


**Key Responsibilities**

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and enhance security protocols and tools to protect information systems and networks while automating repetitive tasks in a consultative capacity.
  • Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security platforms and their associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data protection solutions.
  • Establish systems and methodologies to respond to security incidents and assist in the remediation of cybersecurity breaches.
  • Engage in the change management process to ensure security measures are effectively integrated.
  • Oversee log analysis for managed services to ensure compliance with security policies and requirements.

**Minimum Qualifications**

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Expertise in at least one of the following tools: Splunk, HBSS/McAfee, or Rapid7.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing SIEM solutions and endpoint security measures.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and LAN/WAN concepts.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and attack methodologies.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • A Master's degree coupled with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience with additional security tools and processes such as IDS/IPS and VPNs.
  • Background in incident detection, response, and forensic analysis.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
  • AWS Certification.
  • Experience with maintaining virtual private networks and firewalls.
  • Understanding of potential attack vectors and security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with health monitoring tools.
