Key Responsibilities

Peraton's Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to enhance our business development efforts. This role will be pivotal in directing the creation of innovative and economically viable applications, infrastructure, and mission support services solutions that utilize cutting-edge technologies to meet the needs of our clients while contributing to business growth.

*Remote work available - preference for candidates in the DC/Metro area

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the development of technical solutions, competitive pricing, and alignment of business cases for Peraton's offerings based on the requirements of government agencies.
  • Oversee the documentation and creation of technical solutions, as well as the cost development for inclusion in proposals to government clients.
  • Integrate industry insights with extensive technical expertise to formulate value propositions and strategies that address client challenges.
  • Engage in consultative discussions with clients to uncover core business and technology issues, understand their drivers and requirements, and validate potential solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, practice, and delivery leaders to establish a comprehensive solution strategy that aligns with the client's business objectives.
  • Work effectively with relevant Peraton business and delivery leaders to design solutions and agree on critical parameters before pricing activities.
  • Lead teams of solution professionals and subject matter experts in crafting integrated, cost-effective solutions that fulfill client requirements, enhance Peraton's competitive edge, and adhere to best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Peraton partners to ensure high-quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
  • Identify and assess solution risks, developing strategies and plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Represent the solution during governance reviews and discussions with senior management.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of industry experience (DoD and/or Public Sector) or 6 years with a Master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in delivering successful technical solutions for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for Public Sector clients.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior and executive management.
  • Broad knowledge of mission-focused and technology services and solutions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; active clearance preferred.
  • This position is fully remote, but candidates must be local to the DC/Metro area and able to travel up to 25%.

  • Proven ability to establish trusted relationships with clients at senior and executive levels.
  • Expert knowledge across a wide range of IT services and solutions, with a strong customer focus and experience in the US Public Sector, particularly with DoD.

Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this position based on experience and other factors.
