Job Description

The Role:

Aldinger Co. is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete calibrations on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Work directly with clients throughout the calibration process, providing excellent communication and customer service.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems.
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields.
  • Technical Degree or Certificate.
  • Military PMEL Training.
  • Metrology experience.
  • Experience with IndySoft.
