The Imaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of medical imaging modalities at our assigned center. This includes ensuring high-quality services, supporting patients, physicians, families, and other departments. The supervisor maintains appropriate staffing levels, ensures equipment is in good working condition, and provides necessary supplies for procedures and exams. They also provide daily oversight for staff, department flow, and patient care activities, offering timely feedback and participating in staff performance reviews. Additionally, the supervisor implements policies and procedures and monitors adherence to state, federal, and accrediting agencies' regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree (Required)
  • ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certification
  • Registered with the ARRT R or ARDMS
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
  • Thorough knowledge of medical imaging procedures and equipment, including ionizing radiation and contrast media agents
  • Knowledge of computer systems within imaging
  • Experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Ultrasonographer with 1 year of supervisory experience

Work Environment:

This is a day shift position with 40 scheduled weekly hours in the Administration - Radiology department.
