At Youth Villages, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Response Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Response Specialist, you will provide mobile crisis response and thorough, strength-based assessments of children and families in crisis in their natural environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mobile crisis response and thorough, strength-based assessments of children and families in crisis in their natural environments.
- Utilize crisis respite homes when appropriate.
- Provide ongoing treatment and intervention to maintain the families until appropriate services are secured.
- Work non-traditional hours and have flexibility in your schedule.
- Collaborate with adult crisis teams and community consumers.
- Counselors may serve a 60+ mile radius from the office.
- Counselors may be required to attend meetings on their days off.
- A Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required.
- Candidates must be completed with or enrolled in a clinical master's program.
- One year of clinical experience counseling with youth is preferred.
- Applicants who are provisionally licensed or working towards licensure are strongly preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills are required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously is essential.
- Basic computer knowledge is necessary.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule is required.
- Counselors must have their own vehicle to use for work purposes as well as have liability insurance.
- A competitive salary of $20 - $22 per hour based on education.
- Mileage reimbursement.
