Customer Service Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Call Center Representative to join our team at Susquehanna Obstetrics, Gynecology and Nurse Midwifery.
About the Role: As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records and accounts. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Appointments: Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone following established guidelines.
- Register Patients: Perform all registration (or verify mobile registration) for new patients and update registration information for established patients.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Demonstrate effective handling of patient situations, including upset/dissatisfied customers, and work with other teams as needed to efficiently and effectively resolve customer needs.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Record and update financial information, record and collect patient charges, and maintain accurate records and accounts.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a medical/clinical office.
- Skills: Experience with EMR, computerized scheduling and registration systems including Athena, Greenway and Phreesia.
