We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Patient Services to join our team at PharmaCord. As a key member of our business development and operation groups, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative patient service solutions that demonstrate definitive value for our biopharma clients and their stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop market access and commercialization strategies using market research, healthcare reimbursement trends, HTA research, and product lifecycle data.
- Work with internal teams and prospective clients to develop solutions addressing product/program unmet needs, demonstrating value for each.
- Lead research around products, competitors, and current offerings, analyzing product needs and client goals to develop proposed solutions.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, or RFP responses in support of proposed solutions, actively participating in meetings with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with Operations, Pharmacy, and other internal stakeholders to develop solutions and meaningful service levels (KPIs/SLAs) that measure the value of solutions, performance of PharmaCord, and client ancillary providers.
- Actively participate in the implementation of new clients and services, ensuring contracted solutions are implemented and delivered in accordance with PharmaCord's transition guarantee.
- Monitor client portfolios for assurance that PharmaCord's solutions provide ongoing value to clients, identifying opportunities to further enhance solutions as products and services mature.
- Evaluate operational processes for efficiencies, providing recommendations to leverage technology and people for increased effectiveness and value.
- Maintain an onsite presence to serve clients and associated teams as needed, developing relationships and leading associated projects.
- Train and develop internal staff as needed, serving as an active leader and mentor to immediate teams and other associates at PharmaCord, ensuring team staffing and training needs are met at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, public health administration, or social services; master's or advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7+ years' experience in healthcare patient services with demonstrated experience growing services through innovation and value.
- Knowledge of the specialty pharmaceutical and biotech marketplace and commercialization of products.
- Experience managing large teams of 50+ including managers and supervisors.
