The House Supervisor (RN) is a key member of the nursing team, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice, and hospital policy.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational, and performance improvement efforts.
- Provide supervision to the nursing staff, patients, and patient care during their shift.
- Work closely with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care and contribute to the hospital's overall mission and goals.
- A minimum of a associate degree in nursing or BSN.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
- Currently licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing.
- Understanding of The Joint Commission, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
