We are currently looking for a Senior Audit Supervisor to become a vital part of our thriving Insurance division. This sector is rapidly growing within our firm, with a concentrated focus on insurance organizations, where we are recognized as leaders in the middle market nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality client service that meets or surpasses expectations by coordinating financial statement audits, disclosures, and other client deliverables.
  • Assess risks and communicate audit procedures to teams effectively.
  • Implement RSM's Audit Methodology in all engagements.
  • Oversee multiple engagement teams and conduct evaluations at the end of each engagement.
  • Mentor and guide Senior Associates and Supervisors.
  • Supervise Audit Seniors and Supervisors on engagement teams.
  • Maintain consistent client communication throughout the year.
  • Foster the development of team members through training and career guidance.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and share pertinent information with clients.
  • Address client concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage project profitability effectively.
  • Communicate accounting and auditing matters to Senior Managers and Partners.
  • Ensure ongoing professional development for yourself and your team.
  • Stay updated on the latest GAAP developments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% based on client needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA or CA Certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring.
  • Strong knowledge of audit services and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in building client relationships.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a team lead role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful experience in directing staff on multiple engagements.

Compensation Range: $86,500 - $163,900. Selected individuals may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
