Medical Billing Specialist

Healthcare Administrative Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy Medical Billing Coordinator to join our remote Operations team. As a Medical Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate completion of all billing functions, including billing insurance and processing payments to clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry and multi-tasking skills, as well as outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities to navigate through multiple billing systems while utilizing process guides.
Duties include:
- Resolving failed claims and denials.
- Interpreting Explanation of Benefits, EOBs, for various types of insurance.
- Updating patient demographics, insurance, and billing information in database/billing system.
- Identifying, researching and processing refunds and overpayments.
- Investigating and resolving unbilled and no response claims to ensure timely claim submission.
- Resolving telephone calls and written correspondence from patients and insurance companies.
