Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily posting of patient payments to the practice management system
  • Maintain detailed listings of all payments that have been or need to be processed
  • Manage and monitor email communications concerning patient balances
  • Monitor and send patient statements and letters concerning past due balances
  • Respond and resolve patient inquiries regarding their payments on accounts
  • Comply with all company directives, including patient privacy initiatives and employee safety
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all responsibilities associated with the role are fulfilled
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma
  • Experience: 2+ years in accounting, medical billing, or related field
  • Ability to commute: Reliable transportation to commute to our corporate HQ office Monday – Friday in Portsmouth, NH
  • Excellent team player: Enjoy collaborating with others and being part of a strong team dynamic
  • Exceptionally detailed with strong time management skills: Must be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail
  • Tech savvy: Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, and practice management applications
