Key Responsibilities- Registration and Check-Out: Welcome guests, process registrations, and handle check-outs in a professional and friendly manner.
- PBX Operations: Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide accurate information in a timely manner.
- Mail and Message Service: Handle guest mail and messages, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.
- Guest Relations: Develop relationships with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized service to ensure a positive experience.
- Room Assignments: Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests.
- Key Control: Follow established key control policies to ensure guest security and hotel integrity.
- Cash Handling: Balance and reconcile daily shift bank, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet, to ensure seamless guest service.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel systems and operations, as well as the ability to enter information accurately.
- Schedule: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
