Job Summary

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for maintaining work papers for IRS Form 990T and 1120 filings, including unrelated business activities and indirect overhead allocation. You will also prepare supporting work papers for business income tax filings (federal and state), including apportionment worksheets and tax models. Additionally, you will request and gather internal information from various departments across the company, coordinate tax forecasting efforts, and maintain Excel schedules. Furthermore, you will stay informed about changes in corporate income tax forms, tax apportionment concepts, and accounting for income taxes. Finally, you will review income tax forms prepared by external advisors, ensuring form requirements are met.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. Additionally, you will need 4+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably in professional services or the non-profit sector. You will also need experience or working knowledge of IRS Form 990T, Form 1120, and relevant concepts. Advanced Excel skills are also necessary. Finally, you will need to be familiar with F-RPA.
