This position reports to

Tech Instructor/Training Consultant

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will have the chance to design educational materials and manage content delivery for technical training sessions for clients, whether in a classroom setting or on-site. Each day, you will oversee post-training activities such as gathering feedback, implementing necessary adjustments to training materials and equipment, and more. You will demonstrate your expertise by ensuring exceptional customer service and achieving high levels of client satisfaction through your training efforts. The work model for this role is: Hybrid. This position contributes to the Process Automation Energy Industries division. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Developing and delivering training programs in both classroom and on-site environments, followed by post-training evaluations.
• Creating educational content for training sessions in your area of expertise and recommending updates for e-learning resources.
• Assisting the Field Service team and other departments as needed, leveraging your technical knowledge for support tasks.
• Managing course administration by coordinating arrangements and responding to inquiries regarding training programs.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology with a foundational knowledge of electrical systems and a minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant or process control configuration, or an Associate degree in Engineering or Technology with 7+ years of relevant military/work experience, or a High School Diploma with 9+ years of related military/work experience.
  • Experience with Harmony/Symphony Plus is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% may be required.
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
