Position Overview:
- The Maintenance Mechanic is tasked with a wide array of responsibilities related to the upkeep, repair, and assessment of various healthcare facilities and outpatient care centers' utility systems and equipment, ensuring their safe and dependable operation.
- Takes direction and aids in executing a variety of diverse tasks.
- Provides technical support and adheres to the established procedures and policies within the Facilities Department.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Evening Shift (40 hours per week)
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
(Weekend work may be necessary with prior notice)
Location: Healthcare facilities within the organization.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare or a comparable combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in performing advanced repairs and maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Capable of effectively communicating with management and team members to resolve equipment or system-related issues.
- Ability to read and comprehend the English language, including colors, system schematics, drawings, diagrams, and prints.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
