About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, ensuring the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed, and executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure accurate and efficient execution of daily/weekly workload, including inventory management, product presentation, and sales floor maintenance
  • Collaborate with the General Merchandise and Food Sales team to lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store
  • Process all inbound deliveries using the Receive application to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain backroom and fixture room organization
  • Operate power equipment only if certified and maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
