Bank Teller

The Teller is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by providing a welcoming and personalized experience to every customer. This includes greeting customers, acknowledging their presence, introducing themselves, making eye contact, and thanking them for their business.

• Accept and process transactions from customers via personal contact, mail, and night deposit.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to product experts.
• Gain knowledge of other areas in the bank and cross-train to provide exceptional customer service.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and objectives.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Sales experience, cash handling, customer service, bank, or other financial service provider experience is preferred.
• Previous banking or teller experience and cash handling experience is a plus.
• A valid driver's license and ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance is required.

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and applications.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
• Ability to pay close attention to details.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal communication and computer skills.
