Maintenance Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Grimmway Enterprises. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and upkeep of equipment and machinery, as well as ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Execute maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance processes as determined by the maintenance manager.
- Work closely with technicians and contractors to ensure effective installations and strong start-ups.
- Ensure the operation of machinery, packaging/processing lines, and other mechanical equipment.
- Provide guidance and training to maintenance technicians.
- Diagnose and recommend proper removal of defective parts.
- Examine form and texture of parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Implement maintenance schedules, workloads, and assign work to technicians.
- Monitor expense of parts and supplies, and control overtime.
- Work closely with the maintenance manager to assist with plans and budgets for equipment, tools, parts, and supplies.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean work environment.
- High School degree required, with technical training a strong plus.
- Five to seven years proven experience in maintenance environments is required.
- Produce packaging/processing experience a strong plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor with broad maintenance skills.
- Solid understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, welding, and other crafts.
- Skilled at a variety of hand and power tools, electronic meters, material handling equipment, diagnostic tools, etc.
- Ability to diagnose and recommend proper removal of defective parts.
- Skilled at examining form and texture of parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Able to utilize various hardware/software formats for day-to-day operation.
- Skilled in operating in a collaborative manner with a team attitude.
- Solid communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Outstanding organizational and teaching/mentor abilities.
- Ability to be flexible and operate under stressful situations.
- Must operate with the highest ethics and integrity at all times.
