About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to join our Admissions team at the University of North Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our institution by leading strategic and operational activities for student recruitment and outreach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase undergraduate student enrollment, working closely with campus partners to align efforts with the university's mission and goals.
  • Lead the implementation of the Admissions and Outreach Strategic Plan, providing expertise and guidance to ensure successful execution.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform recruitment decisions, using data from various resources and maintaining CRM functions and trainings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to build relationships and partnerships, driving enrollment growth and student success.
  • Supervise and train staff in assigned areas, ensuring effective execution of recruitment activities and providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, developing and implementing communication plans to promote the university's brand and recruitment efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, schools, and departments across the university, providing training and support in Salesforce and other recruitment tools.
  • Provide data and insights to inform recruitment decisions, building reports using available tools and collaborating with partners across the university.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of professional experience in student recruitment and admissions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of university admissions standards, policies, and procedures, as well as special admissions procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present and counsel effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse populations, including students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead and train staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
