Position Summary

The Inventory Management Supervisor plays a crucial role within the store leadership team. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills who can effectively communicate inventory updates to the team and adapt to the dynamic nature of retail operations. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Inventory Management Supervisor ensures an exceptional experience for both team members and customers while addressing the operational needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Create an Engaging Back-of-House Experience

  • Build enduring relationships with store management, team members, and clientele.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to guarantee outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain an organized and accessible back room.
  • Oversee daily destocking and restocking processes.
  • Ensure the back-of-house area remains orderly and efficient.

Operational Leadership

  • Participate in monthly inventory meetings.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts.
  • Manage transfers between stores.
  • Oversee weekly manual restocking to keep the sales floor adequately supplied.
  • Ensure timely receipt and processing of shipments, following up with management as necessary.
  • Identify and report product issues promptly.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work at least one weekend day and some holidays.
  • Punctuality in adhering to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient in addressing customer concerns positively and proactively.
  • Capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner of new procedures and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
