Agronomy Operations Specialist

At CHS Inc., we're committed to empowering agriculture through innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. As an Agronomy Operations Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch service and valuable insights to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, and truck driving.
- Perform all agronomy/seed operations, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory, adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
- Regulate and perform periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers as needed and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Work in an environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
- Agriculture experience or background knowledge is helpful, but not required.
- Previous internship experience is helpful, but not required.
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base wage and potential bonus, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors, including experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
