Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency service calls, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency service calls to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment
  • Provide reliable and high-quality customer support, including system testing and signal verification
  • Maintain necessary truck stock and inventory, including equipment and tools
  • Organize and utilize technical resources to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks
  • Ensure progress and completion of assigned tasks, including documentation of service and hours worked
Requirements
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training
  • Three or more years of experience in commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
  • Mastery knowledge of trouble shooting commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
  • Working knowledge of local and national codes
  • Mastery knowledge of test equipment, such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters
  • Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening
  • Licensed through the state of Connecticut
Work Environment
  • Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, and hear
  • Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs
