Job Description: Emergency Medical Transport Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of critically ill patients, working closely with EMTs and CCEMT-Ps to ensure seamless care transitions. You will assess and treat patients, communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in emergency medical transport.

About the Role:
The Emergency Medical Transport Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective care plans, adhering to all safety requirements while transporting patients, and using your expertise to evaluate patient care and make recommendations for improvement. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care during transportation.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five years of healthcare experience, with two years as an RN in an emergency department or three years in a critical care department. You must also hold an active Florida RN or ARNP License and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, IABP, LVAD, NRP, CPI, and NIHSS.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year

Location: AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, Tampa Bay Area
