Job Overview

RADIOLOGY & IMAGING SPECIALISTS OF LAKELAND is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiologic procedures in an outpatient setting while maintaining a high level of customer service and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures following established protocols and ensure accurate positioning and scanning of patients.
  • Reconstruct CTA exams as necessary and input all required patient information into the system.
  • Obtain detailed patient history and perform exams in a timely manner.
  • Log all injections and review lab results to determine contrast indications.
  • Maintain exam rooms and equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality while promoting teamwork and customer service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have 2+ years of experience in the Radiology field, a High School Diploma or GED, and completion of a course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the Florida Department of Health are also required. Advanced certification in CT is preferred.
