Unit Overview: The Surgical Oncology Unit (Weinberg 4 C/D) is a 36-bed acute care unit specializing in adult surgical patients. We provide comprehensive care for various surgical needs, including plastics, reconstruction after breast cancer surgery, and gastrointestinal surgeries. Our team utilizes advanced monitoring systems and techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who has successfully completed RN I, RN II, and RN III competencies to take on a leadership role in our Surgical Oncology Unit.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program is required.
  • A valid Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is mandatory.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Acute Care nursing is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, develop and implement unit procedures, and manage performance effectively.
