Position Overview:

Quality Technicians play a critical role in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our quality system. They provide assistance to the production team, utilizing problem-solving techniques and lean manufacturing principles to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems to support ISO 9001 compliance
  • Complete gauge calibrations and utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet customer specifications
  • Read and interpret part prints, understanding the correlation between the print and critical dimensions
  • Record production, material, and quality information on designated AMMO operating systems
  • Create and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation
  • Test products and materials or outsource testing as required

Candidate Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong math skills and reading competence
  • Ability to work with large press machinery
