Under the direction of the Coding Integrity Manager, the Transcription Data Analyst plays a crucial role in processing dictated transcribed information from transcription vendors. This individual supports transcription processes by importing vendor transcription work and completing key verification activities. Additionally, this individual responds to transcription-related inquiries from physician offices, facility departments, and other applicable facility personnel. Furthermore, the Transcription Data Analyst acts as a liaison between outside transcription vendors, coders, physicians, and facility personnel.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in medical records or a related healthcare field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or training in medical terminology and anatomy and physiology at the college level.
- Upon hire, a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT), or enrollment in a healthcare-related program.
