Red Rock Government Services is actively seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for Software Applications to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. This position involves delivering automated testing support to assess potential enhancements, re-indexing of test dates, UI improvements, and resolving data inconsistencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans/scripts utilizing automated testing tools.
  • Conduct compatibility assessments with software, hardware, operating systems, or networks.
  • Create, install, maintain, or utilize software testing applications to evaluate database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability.
  • Establish and define key quality characteristics, including metrics and scoring parameters, to determine necessary quality control measures.
  • Document and maintain test defects.
  • Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to assess product quality or readiness for release.
  • Utilize a bug tracking system to document defects and communicate issues to developers.
  • Oversee bug resolution and monitor success rates.
  • Document testing procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with established standards.
  • Evaluate or recommend software solutions for testing or bug tracking purposes.
  • Identify deviations from standards and propose modifications to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze and document issues related to program functionality, output, online screens, or content.
  • Set up and configure test environments that replicate software production conditions to assess performance.
  • Monitor program performance to guarantee efficient and seamless operations.
  • Engage in product design reviews to provide insights on functional requirements, product designs, timelines, or potential challenges.
  • Offer feedback and recommendations to developers regarding software usability.
  • Conduct initial debugging by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code segments to identify sources of issues.
  • Plan testing schedules or strategies in alignment with project scope or delivery timelines.
  • Test system modifications in preparation for implementation.
  • Update automated test scripts to ensure they remain current.
  • Coordinate user or third-party testing efforts.
