Job Summary:

Lamb Weston is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our plant, adhering to state, federal, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Train and supervise sanitation personnel in cleaning procedures and techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections to evaluate the cleaning and sanitizing of the plant, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel on sanitation issues.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly tagged and locked out before cleaning.
  • Participate in safety programs and activities, demonstrating ownership and leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members.

Requirements:

  • Sanitation qualification and experience in a similar role.
  • Forklift qualification and willingness to be trained.
  • Lock-out/Tag-out qualification and willingness to be trained.
  • Confined Space qualification and willingness to be trained.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
