About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Maintenance Lead to join our team at AtkinsRéalis in Richland, WA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our maintenance program, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with operations and management teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of maintenance materials and services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for maintenance staff and other personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related technical field or 4 years of field experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, with a focus on energy systems and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record required; evidence of insurability also required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, database applications, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and environments with exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, chemicals, and mechanical and electrical hazards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work occasionally at elevated heights.
