About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare environment, delivering quality patient care, and providing world-class customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and other visitors in the medical office, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Field all phone calls that arrive using our general office number, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
  • Register new patients and update necessary records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Distribute forms and paperwork to patients to ensure that required fields are completed appropriately, facilitating a smooth registration process.
  • Daily collection of patient financial responsibility, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Completing and tracking insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals, ensuring seamless communication with patients and providers.
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Auto claim submissions, providing expert support to patients and providers.
  • Perform other diverse duties as requested or required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
