Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications to residents in our Assisted Living Program, under the direction of the on-duty RN. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care to residents by performing light housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of their apartments
  • Assisting with dining services and ensuring residents receive prompt and attentive care
  • Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and resident activities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Nursing assistant or home health certification
  • Successful completion of a medication administration training course and statewide standardized written competency test
  • New Jersey Certification for Medication Aide
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively under stress and have excellent critical thinking skills.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition, benefits include access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities, as well as a comprehensive employee assistance program.
