Caregiving Support Specialist

The Caregiving Support Specialist position at Five Star Quality Care, Inc. offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support and assistance with daily living tasks, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.
Responsibilities:
* Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
* Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
* Support residents with medication management
* Help residents with mobility and transfer activities
* Assist with eating and drinking
* Perform vital sign checks and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Must be at least 18 years old or meet state requirements
* Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
