We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Books-A-Million in Morgantown, WV.
Key Responsibilities- Operate café equipment and prepare a variety of coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and baked goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized café environment, adhering to local, state, and federal sanitation guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with stocking and merchandising the café, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked environment.
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Ability to learn and operate multiple café machines, including blenders, ovens, espresso machines, and cash registers.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and cash handling abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, crouch, or reach while performing daily activities.
- Ability to lift/push objects up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 25 lbs. on a periodic basis with or without assistance.
