Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Molding Supervisor to join our team at Newton T&M. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mold processing and machine setup, as well as managing overall operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mold Processing and Machine Setup: Perform mold set up and color changes to meet production demands as needed, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Troubleshoot mold processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment problems, and make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime.
  • Process Optimization: Set molding process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements, and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to molding operators and assemblers, and oversee the maintenance of all operational systems and process controls associated with mold processing.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Assist with compliance and documentation to all molding area related procedures, policies, and work instructions, and participate in and support the Quality Management System.
  • Critical Production Information: Document, report, and maintain all critical production information, and support new tool design and development.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of 4 years injection molding experience with at least 2 years in a tooling setup role.
  • Language Skills: Read and Write in English.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to Lift 50 lbs.
