At TEKsystems, we're seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Overview

We're looking for a talented individual to provide hands-on support for telecommunications and network environments across multiple sites in the DC and Baltimore area. As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless network operations and provide top-notch technical support.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining structured cabling systems, including PBX and LAN infrastructure.
  • Providing technical support for network and voice systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Collaborating with our team to implement new network technologies and upgrades.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices for network infrastructure.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for network infrastructure and technical procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Hands-on experience with structured cabling, network infrastructure, and voice systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of SSH, PuTTY, and analog/digital cross-connect cables.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cable management, voice management, and cable tracing.
