Job Summary:

The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, network monitoring, and deep-down configuration or root cause analysis experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues.
Provide analysis, root cause diagnosis, and trouble-shooting for routers, switches, and firewalls.
Provide direct assistance to users with network-related issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 8 years of related experience.
Experience with Solarwinds or other similar network monitoring application, configuration and monitoring tool.
Experience with VMWare 7 or higher usage and network configuration.
Experience with any or all of the following technologies: Cisco Nexus/Catalyst/ASA/ISR/XE, McAfee Sidewinder, PaloAlto, Juniper, IPSEC, NAT, SCP, TFTP.
CCNA Certification, Juniper Equivalent or Palo Alto Equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hardware/software from Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in working with Kubernetes, a container orchestration platform.
Comprehensive Insight into Root Cause Analysis of Deep Configuration Settings
Knowledge of industry-standard NOC procedures, tools, and best practices is essential. Additionally, familiarity with network security protocols and incident response procedures is advantageous.
Proven proficiency in navigating and utilizing Linux, Red Hat, and Unix operating systems.
